US military bases attacked in Afghanistan
"Two US bases in Afghanistan came under attack on Wednesday, just hours before ceremonies to commemorate the attacks on the United States last September 11. No damage or casualties were reported from a rocket attack on an airfield used by US Special Forces in the eastern town of Khost nor from an attack by a gunman on Bagram air base, the US military headquarters in Afghanistan."
