Syng The Clash, bli kasta av flyet

Kampen mot terrorisme vinn nye sigrar.

A passenger was hauled off a jet as a suspected terrorist — because he sang a song by The Clash during a taxi ride.

The cabbie rang cops after Harraj Mann belted out London Calling.

Dette er den andre som har fått problem på grunn av tekstane til The Clash:

In 2004 Mike Devine, 35, was arrested after the Special Branch intercepted an innocent text message about the song Tommy Gun.

It contains the words “gun” and “jet airliner”.

Eg lev fårleg, så eg siterer Guns of Brixton:

When they kick out your front door
How you gonna come?
With your hands on your head
Or on the trigger of your gun

Der kom du meg i forkjøpet gitt. Pinlige greier det der. Og apropos Devines SMS:

"There was speculation as to how the text message came to police attention - they insisted Devine had mis-sent the text and that they don't spend all their time reading everyone's messages."
